WARNING! Subscriptions are dangerous ? Yes truly are as every month (had 3 so far) they are absolutely beautiful and so you will want another and another and another ... value for money is OUTSTANDING love the uniqueness of the beautiful hand dyed yarns (must remember to use not just hug them) each month is just better and better. I haven’t just had a subscription though anything else ordered is dispatched quickly and arrives as fast as the delivery services allow. What I’m trying to say is don’t blame the messenger for any slow service as you know Shelley and Kieran will send as soon as they are able. Responding to message. - do they have a life ? ?? only joke about this as they ALWAYS respond even on a Sunday - guys take some time off you deserve it!

have just received my big bundle of wool and I am really delighted with the size of the wool, the colours and the quality. I ordered 16 different colours for my next project and they are so close to those on the website. My order came within 5 days and contained a free gift also. It was well parcelled up & my purchase was carefully packed within two postal bags. I was really pleased with how quickly it came, as living in N. Ireland we sometimes have to wait longer. Overall, no complaints at all. So pleased with everything & certainly plan to order again. Many thanks.

YARN Bookazine 12 plays tribute to the artists and muses of the Pre-Raphaelite and Arts and Crafts movements of the 19th century. It celebrates the joy of making with a collection of wearable and homeware designs influenced by the paintings, textiles and richly patterned decor of the Romantic Era. Amongst the 11 crochet and 7 knitting patterns, expect to see exquisite lacework, rich colour work and updated interpretations of historical motifs, symbols and embellishments. Abundant detail fuses with modern functionality through a varied range of stitch techniques, fibres, colour palettes and surface embroidery.
Romanticism is reflected and explored throughout YARN Bookazine 12 that is divided into four captivating chapters, each named in honour of a renowned muse: Lizzie Siddal, Fanny Eaton, Annie Miller and Effie Gray. The themed lookbook is bursting with stunning crochet and knitting designs to suit all budgets and levels of crafting experience. Designs are interspersed with fascinating feature articles concerning the legacy of the art movements of the era, the intriguing life of Fanny Eaton and inspiring interviews with modern-day creatives such as paper artist Pippa Dyrlaga and craftsman Hugh Dunford-Wood.

In YARN Bookazine 13 Wadden, Scheepjes share the joy and wonder of the unique environment of the Wadden, an area of sea, sandbars and around 50 islands that stretches across the coastlines of the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. The Wadden Sea National Park was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 2009, and in our 13th issue of YARN Bookazine we explore its diverse habitats, enormous variety of wildlife and significance to the Dutch culture.
YARN Bookazine 13 Wadden features 17 modern crochet and knitting patterns inspired by the land, sea and animals of the region. The colour palette features bright shades reflecting the berries and lighthouses found scattered across the Dutch Wadden islands, with more neutral colours taken from the beaches, dunes, mudflats and waters to offer a soft contrast. Featuring a range of yarns and fibres, from crisp cottons to cosy pure wool, the projects are made in a selection of crochet and knitting techniques. An additional latch hook rug design completes the selection of patterns.
The look book is divided into four chapters, each named after an aspect of the Wadden: Landscape, Coastal Life, Holiday Time and Tides. The designs range from garments to toys and reflect the diverse flora and fauna that define the region, the drama and atmosphere of the landscape, and the pastimes shared by local residents and visitors to the area, such as cycling.
In this issue of YARN the following Scheepjes yarns are used: Catona, Chunky Monkey, Colour Crafter, Cotton 8, Downtown, Eliza, Furry Tales, Legacy, Linen Soft, Metropolis, Mighty, Skies Heavy, Softfun, Softfun Aquarel, Smyrna, Stone Washed, Stone Washed XL, Whirl.
